Smeeta Fokeer is an Industrial Development Officer at the Climate and Technology Partnership Division (CTP) of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
She is responsible for the development and implementation of projects focused on how green hydrogen can contribute to sustainable industrial development. She is also involved in related research work and global forum activities on climate technologies and solutions to reach a net zero economy. Smeeta holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering, an MSc in Environmental Management and a PhD in Environmental Fluid Dynamics from the University of Nottingham (UK).
