Petra Kynclova
Petra Kynclova is Statistician at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Petra Kynclova is currently assigned as Statistician of Statistics Division in the Department of Policy Research and Statistics in UNIDO contributing to methodological development of the global monitoring indicator framework for SDG-9. She is responsible for developing data tools on tracking progress towards SDG-9 industry-related targets to provide UNIDO’s Member States and their policymakers with timely and in-depth analytical insights on matters related to inclusive and sustainable industrialization. Before joining UNIDO, she worked as Research Assistant for several scientific projects in Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics at Vienna University of Technology in Austria tackling the computational statistics with a special focus on compositional data analysis. Kynclova holds a Ph.D. in Technical Mathematics from the Vienna University of Technology in Austria.
