Karmen Naidoo is currently a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Naidoo is also a Research Affiliate at the Development Policy Research Unit at the University of Cape Town. Her research interests are development economics and labor economics. Naidoo has an undergraduate and master's degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town as well as a Master of Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
