Carlos Melo Gouveia is economist at the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal since 2018, having been part of the Portuguese Economy Division. He has a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and a Master's degree from Nova School of Business and Economics. His studies focus on understanding the Portuguese Economy, namely in the areas of International Trade, Labour Market and Prices.
